Points system
Once you have set up your ‘Birthday reward’, the points will be credited to your account during your birthday month, rather than immediately.
Reward Redemption
If no points are earned or redeemed within a 12-month period, all customers’ points will be reset to zero.
Example
Assume you enabled this feature on 30 November 2022 and set points to expire after 12 months.
Points will only expire if a customer has not earned or redeemed any points for a consecutive period of 12 months.
Scenario A: Customer A earns points on 4 December 2022 → Points will expire on 4 December 2023
Scenario B: Customer B has not earned or redeemed any points between 30 November 2021 and 30 November 2022 → Points expire on 30 November 2022.
VIP Level
Customers are assigned to a VIP tier based on their total spending.
Reward Allocation Policy
- If a customer skips multiple tiers in a single go, only the reward package for the highest tier will be issued.
- Once a tier is reached, it will never expire.
- Tier rewards are only awarded upon first reaching a VIP tier. If a customer loses their points due to a partial refund or other reasons and consequently drops out of the VIP tier, they will not receive the reward again upon re-entering that tier.
